Beat the Heat Tournament runs August 7–9, 2026 at Wicked Pickle (Westland, MI) with singles, men’s/women’s doubles, and mixed doubles across all skill/age divisions, using pool-play round robins (pools of 4–6) to 11 or 15 win-by-2 followed by a championship/medal bracket (structure varies by division size), with all scores reported to DUPR. Fees are $25 early reg (ends July 1) or $40 regular plus $25/event standard or $50/event Open/Pro (cash prizes in Open scale with entries/sponsors); Franklin X-40 is the standard ball and LT ball for Open/Pro, minimum 4 teams to run a division, divisions may combine, schedule/format may adjust, and the venue is a climate-controlled indoor facility with fruit and bottled water provided.
