Minnesota Parks and Recreation/Minnesota Pickleball run a standardized, affordable 2026 sanctioned tournament circuit ($35 local events) with 30 divisions: Men’s/Women’s/Mixed doubles at 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and Open, split into age 49-and-under and 50+. The 2026 Minnesota sanctioned state tournament is Aug 27–30 in Maple Grove; Tier-1 events qualify the top 4 teams (8 players) and Tier-2 the top 3 teams (6 players) for individual state spots, all events award seeding points, both partners must register/pay within 5 days or be waitlisted, and light snacks/water are provided (no alcohol on public courts).
