Minnesota’s 2026 state-sanctioned pickleball tournaments (run by Minnesota Parks & Recreation and managed by Minnesota Pickleball) cost $35 and offer 30 divisions: men’s/women’s/mixed doubles at 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and Open, split into ages 49-and-under and 50+. The 2026 state tournament is Aug 27–30 in Maple Grove; circuit events award state-tournament qualification (Tier-1: top 4 teams/8 players, Tier-2: top 3 teams/6 players), plus seeding points, with registration requiring both partners to pay within 5 days (snacks/water provided; no alcohol on public courts).
