Minnesota’s state-sanctioned pickleball tournaments (managed by Minnesota Pickleball under Minnesota Parks & Recreation) cost $35 in 2026 and offer 30 divisions across men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles at 3.0/3.5/4.0/4.5/Open, split into age groups 49 & under and 50+. The 2026 state tournament is Aug 27–30 in Maple Grove; circuit events award state-tournament spots to top finishers (Tier 1: top 4 teams; Tier 2: top 3 teams), all events earn seeding points, partners must both register/pay within 5 days or be waitlisted, and light snacks/water are provided (no alcohol on public courts).
