The Empire Serves Back Open Pickleball Tournament (sponsored by the City of Loves Park) runs May 1–3 with gender doubles under 3.0 on May 1, gender doubles 3.0+ plus Moneyball divisions on May 2, and mixed doubles on May 3; Moneyball offers Men’s Doubles 4.5+ ($2,000/$1,000/$500) and Women’s Doubles 4.0+ ($500/$300/$200) for the top three. Fees are $1 early-bird through March 22 then $15 registration, plus $35 per non-Moneyball event or $50 per Moneyball event (+$5 service charge), with Franklin X40 balls for DUPR <4.0 and Lifetime balls for DUPR >4.0, and medals/podium photos for top three teams (cash + medals for Moneyball).
